The Pitch
Páirc Astro na Ceathrún Rua is an astro pitch of the highest standard, laid with a new 5G surface in 2025. It is a floodlit, all-weather pitch, and it is CS Mac Dara’s home ground. The pitch was developed by Coiste na Páirce, which develops and manages sport and recreation facilities in An Cheathrú Rua (Carraroe).

Getting Here
The astro pitch is in An Cheathrú Rua (Carraroe), Co. Galway, across the road from Páirc an Chathánaigh. From Galway city, follow the R336 west along the coast through Na Forbacha (Furbo), An Spidéal (Spiddal) and Indreabhán (Inverin); at Casla (Costelloe), follow the signs for Carraroe. It’s about a 45-minute drive from the city.
